Salem: Witch War
Coming off of a successful premiere of Salem season 1, WGN America needed to continue to establish its brand identity as a destination for groundbreaking scripted original series, while driving awareness and tune in for Salem season 2. Also, in the cluttered supernatural genre the need to stand out, surprise and shock the audience was greater than ever.
The campaign focused around the idea of ‘Witch War’ and brought the concept to life through visually arresting key art and OOH posters and rich media overlays providing video character exposes and channel finder functionality for a deeply engaging experience.
The campaign yielded an impressive result, ranking as the season’s highest lift across all new and returning premieres on cable with a 99% increase over the network’s total viewers.
